Tribute to the European Interwar Cinema

The Contemporary Art Center of Thessaloniki (State Museum of Contemporary Art) and the Bookstore of The National Bank of Greece Institute (MIET) are organizing a Tribute to the European Interwar Cinema.
The tribute involves an exhibition of Sergei Eisenstein’s drawings from the movies “Viva Mexico” and “Ivan the Terrible”, as well as cinema magazines from the period of the Russian Avant Garde (private collection) at the bookstore venue (11 Tsimiski Street).
At the premises of the CACT (Warehouse B1, Thessaloniki Port) there will be screenings of movies from French Surrealim, German Expressionism and Soviet Realim.
