Entry call for animation artists
The Contemporary Art Center of Thessaloniki, part of the State Museum of Contemporary Art, focusing on the promotion of new media and contemporary art techniques, organises the Animacall project scheduled for spring 2011. The aim of this exhibition is the presentation of contemporary animation short film (maximum 5’) realised by artists from all over the world.
There will be special screening programmes, lectures and workshops, organised in the context of the exhibition. This is the third open call offered by the Contemporary Art Center of Thessaloniki in the last years (Public Screen, 2007, I create therefore I am, 2008). Syrago Tsiara, director of CACT and curator of the project invites everyone to submit a proposal, following the conditions below.
Applicants must fill in, print out and send the application form by post including:
• the application form signed by the artist
• 2 film stills (jpeg 300 dpi)
• a screening copy of the film in one of the following projection formats:
DVD, MPEG, MP4, H264, MOV (more details in the application form)
